I installed a linux distribution, and the few times that I reboot and see the login screen, I want to see something else from the default background! So, I edited (as root) the file:
/etc/lightdm/slick-greeter.conf
and edited the background line! . I still didn’t make any logout/ login or reboot, but I believe it will work.
